About the Injured Workers Service

The Injured Workers Service was established at the beginning of 2021 in partnership with EML, the insurance service provider of the ACT Government, to provide independent information and support to workers.

Workers in the ACT can seek advice, support, and assistance via the website, email or phone. If you want guidance or support on navigating worker’s compensation or just want to get a second opinion on a workers’ compensation issue reach out. Whatever stage you’re at in the process, we’re here to help, or to refer you to someone who can.

The Important Things To Remember If You’re Injured At Work

  1. Get whatever medical attention you need immediately.

  2. Let your supervisor know as soon as possible.

  3. Speak with your doctor about your injury.
